Made to order wood fired pizza ovens

All Fuego outdoor pizza ovens for sale are hand-made to order by one of our skilful oven technicians, who have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing of traditional artisan wood fired ovens.

Each clay pizza oven for sale by Fuego is built to your own specification. You are able to choose the style of finish, the type of door, chimney size and add any extras to your order. So, together, we make it a unique wood fired oven that elevates alfresco cooking to another level.

Unique fire clay

All Fuego outdoor pizza ovens for sale have an internal dome which is manufactured from a single piece of ancient Spanish fire clay. The clay pizza oven is carefully shaped by hand, dried and baked for 36 hours at 1200℃. This ensures the highest level of heat resistance and refractory qualities known for thousands of years.

It is this special fire clay that allows every Fuego wood fired clay pizza oven to get to the ideal cooking temperature in half the time, whilst maintaining their heat for many hours without adding any fuel.

Multiple Cooking Methods

Like every Fuego wood fired outdoor clay oven, the Clasico 70 is capable of a range of seven different cooking methods – pizza cook, bake, barbecue, roast, slow cook, smoke and pan cook. This wood burning oven retains its heat for several hours  which is perfect for long, slow cooking. Find all you need in Fuego’s Cook Section or view our tried and tested recipes section.

DEFRA Certified pizza ovens

Now the serious bit. Councils are now more than ever paying attention to solid fuel burning in smoke controlled areas. Failure to present evidence of a DEFRA certified commercial pizza oven in a commercial environment could lead to immediate shutdown, large fines and eventually oven removal.

DEFRA Certified

Fuego, who are domestic and commercial wood fired pizza oven distributors in the UK, possess the certification to enable wood to be burnt in their ovens throughout the UK and have been classified as “exempt” for use in smoke control areas when burning a non-authorised fuel or fuels.

Any solid fuel combustion appliance burning a non-authorised fuel requires exemption before use in UK smoke control areas.

Under the Clean Air Act 1993 local authorities may declare the whole, or part, of the district of the authority to be a smoke control area. It is an offence to emit smoke from a chimney of a building, from a furnace or from any fixed boiler if located in a designated smoke control area.

It is also an offence to acquire an “unauthorised fuel” for use within a smoke control area unless it is used in an “exempt” appliance (“exempted” from the controls which generally apply in the smoke control area). Further information on the requirements of the Clean Air Act can be found below.
