Firebaskets range in size from 16" (40cm) width to 42" (106cm) - some such as the spiked swansnest are cast in iron and are primarily for burning logs, ideal for people trying to maintain the historical charm of an old inglenook. Others have a more modern design and are hand made in wrought iron with replaceable cast iron base grids making them suitable for logs and coal.
